Dr Liz Pidoux teaches at King's School Canterbury.
She has PhD in the history of science and a M.A. in English literature.
King's school was founded in AD 597 by St. Augustine, making it the world's oldest school, this claim being based on the fact that St Augustine founded an abbey (within the current school's grounds) where it is known teaching took place.
